Using Bramble

Bramble is free to use for keeping track of your own reading. Use it lawfully, do not try to break it, and do not use it to harass anyone. Accounts that are used to abuse other people can be removed.

What you put in it

Your library, reviews and messages remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to store them and show them back to you, and to the people you deliberately share them with — a book club you join, a profile you set to public. We do not claim ownership of anything you write.

What we put in it

The Bramble name, the artwork, the shop designs and the app itself belong to us. Book covers and details come from Google Books and Open Library and belong to their publishers.

The shop

Shop items are printed and posted when you order. Prices are shown before you pay and include shipping where stated. If an item arrives damaged or wrong, write to us and we will put it right.

No guarantees

Bramble is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never lose anything — which is exactly why the app lets you export a full backup at any time, and why you should occasionally do so.

Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you want; see Support. We can close an account that breaks these terms.
