Privacy

What we store

• Your account — the email address you sign up with, and a password we never see in readable form.
• Your library — the books you add, shelves, ratings, reviews, notes, reading sessions, goals and achievements.
• Your profile — display name, bio and photo, if you add them. You choose whether your profile is public or private.
• Social activity — friends, book clubs you join, and messages you send in them. Messages are visible to the people in that conversation.
• Orders — if you buy from the shop, the delivery address and order details needed to actually post it to you.

We do not collect your location, your contacts, or anything from other apps.

Who it is shared with

• Supabase — hosts the database and files. They store the data on our behalf and do not use it for anything else.
• Google Books and Open Library — asked for cover art and book details when you add a book. They receive the title, author or ISBN being looked up.
• Printify — only if you order something, and only the details needed to print and post it.
• Resend — sends account emails such as password resets.

We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

Payments

Card details are handled by the payment provider at checkout. They never reach Bramble's servers and we never see your card number.

Your data, on demand

• Export — Library → Add a book → Export, at any time, as a spreadsheet or a full backup file. No request needed.
• Delete — deleting your account removes your profile, library, sessions and messages. See Support.

Children

Bramble is not intended for children under 13. The Story Time shelf is for adults logging books they read to children, not an account for a child.
