The Bramble cat, reading a book among blackberry vines

Bramble

A reading tracker for people who actually read.

Works in any browser. The phone apps are in beta — see About.

What it does

Your whole library

Shelve everything you own, are reading, or mean to get to. Sort by genre, author, or your own shelves. Covers are found for you.

A reading timer

Time a session and Bramble works out your pages per minute, so it can tell you how long a book will actually take you.

Audiobooks and ebooks

Separate shelves for audiobooks and ebooks, with listening hours counted alongside pages read.

Goals and achievements

Weekly, monthly and yearly reading goals, and hundreds of achievements earned from what you have genuinely finished.

Book clubs

Start a club, invite up to eight friends, vote on the next book, and talk about it in a group chat that lives in the app.

Lending tracker

Note who borrowed what and when. The most useful feature in any reading app, and the one most of them forget.

Coming from Goodreads?

  1. In Goodreads, open My Books → Import and Export → Export Library and download the file.
  2. In Bramble, open any library, tap Add a book, then Import my Goodreads library.
  3. Your shelves, ratings, reviews and read dates come across. Books already on your shelves are skipped.

StoryGraph and LibraryThing exports work too, and you can export your Bramble library back out as a spreadsheet whenever you like. Your library is yours.
